OrangeCares: Supporting Toys for Tots This Holiday Season
This holiday season, Orange Aluminum is supporting Toys for Tots, a national program that provides new toys to children in need. Since 1947, the organization has helped ensure that kids facing financial hardship still experience the excitement and joy of receiving a gift during the holidays.
We chose to support Toys for Tots as this quarter’s charity activity because the program reflects the purpose behind OrangeCares, offering care, encouragement, and practical support to the communities around us.
Why Toys for Tots
Toys for Tots has a straightforward mission: deliver hope through the gift of a new toy. Each year, the program works with local communities to collect and distribute millions of toys to children who might otherwise go without during the holidays.
Beyond the immediate joy it provides, the program also promotes year-round outreach that supports underserved families and children across the country.
This year, supporting Toys for Tots also complements our Q4 OrangeCares partnership with the American Veterans Center. While the Veterans Center focuses on preserving the stories and legacy of those who served, Toys for Tots reflects the ongoing tradition of service carried on by the Marine Corps Reserve. Together, these efforts recognize both the sacrifices made by veterans and the importance of investing in the next generation
A Team Effort
This holiday donation was made possible with contributions from across our team. Everyone participated in gathering toys, organizing donations, and ensuring we could deliver a meaningful collection to support local children. It was a simple, collaborative effort that showed what we can accomplish when we work together toward a shared purpose.
