Panel Cleat® Patented Locking Aluminum French Cleat – Panel Rail & Z-Clips – 6063-T5 Product Information

The Locking Panel Cleat® is a patented locking French cleat, extruded in aluminum, that fastens shut once the panel is hung. A screw hole is designed into the profile: after the cleats interlock, a screw driven through it ties the two halves together, so the panel can't be lifted off, bumped loose or shaken free.

Specify it wherever panels need added retention and stability. Use the continuous Panel Rail for full-length retention or precut 2.5" Z-Clips for spot mounting; both share one interlocking profile. Back the screw out and the panel lifts off like a standard cleat for service access.

The profile matches our HD Lite dimensions: 1/4" offset, 1-1/2" height, 5/32" wall and 7/16" lift-off. Extruded from 6063-T5 aluminum in a mill finish.
