Panel Cleat® MF625 Low-Profile Aluminum French Cleat & Z-Clip – 6063-T5 Product Information

The MF625 Panel Cleat® is our lowest-profile aluminum French cleat and Z-clip system, holding panels just 3/16" off the wall. Use it where a mounted piece should look like it is floating flat on the surface: artwork, acrylic and glass panels, signage, and millwork in tight reveals.

Buy it as a continuous Panel Rail for long runs or as precut 1.5" Z-Clips for spot mounting. Both share the same interlocking profile, so rail and clips mix on one install. Fasten one piece to the wall, the mating piece to the panel, and lower the panel into place. The 5/8" lift-off lets you remove or reposition it without tools.

Extruded from 6063-T5 aluminum in a mill finish, the MF625 resists corrosion and cuts cleanly with standard saw blades.

Highlights

  • Interlocking Bracket Design – Two pieces fit together to hold panels snugly and allow for easy removal
  • Flush Wall Mounting – Keeps panels tight to the wall for a polished, seamless finish
  • Compact and Lightweight – Small size makes them ideal for modular setups or limited space applications
  • Strong Aluminum Build – Crafted to resist rust, wear, and deformation over time
  • Versatile Mounting Option – Commonly used for signs, acoustic panels, and architectural wall treatments

    Perfect!

For my application, these cleats have the best thickness (very slim) and tall engagement lip.

    The best I know of!

I do a thing no other company in my region does. Where OA wins is their extremely low-profile cleat. I have a magic formula to adhere a cleat to glass and OA wins here because it is the lowest-profile cleat I know of. Nobody wants their artwork, or whatever, hanging off the substrate 3/4". OA gets it down to 3/8", which is the best in the game as far as I know. Highly recommend... if you have the secret formula. Hint: "995".
