OrangeCares Q4 2025: Supporting the American Veterans Center
For Q4 2025, Orange Aluminum selected the American Veterans Center as our OrangeCares charitable partner, supporting its work to preserve and share the stories of U.S. veterans.
The organization was nominated by Daniel, our Director of Marketing and a U.S. military veteran. His connection to military service brought attention to the importance of recording veterans’ experiences while those stories can still be told firsthand.
This partnership was part of OrangeCares, Orange Aluminum’s quarterly charitable giving program. Explore Orange Cares and the organizations we support to learn how our team and customers contribute to causes throughout the year.
What the American Veterans Center Does
The American Veterans Center preserves and promotes the experiences of America’s veterans and active-duty service members, from World War II through today.
Its work brings military history to audiences through personal accounts, educational programs, documentaries, publications, and public events. These efforts help future generations understand service through the voices of those who experienced it.
One example is Veterans Chronicles, a program featuring veterans telling their stories in their own words. Firsthand accounts give listeners a personal perspective on events they may otherwise know only through history books.
Why Daniel Nominated the Organization
Daniel selected the American Veterans Center because he wanted to help preserve the voices of veterans whose experiences might otherwise be lost.
In our original announcement, he shared:
“This organization actively records and preserves those stories so that the courage, sacrifices, and lessons of the ‘Greatest Generation’ and beyond live on for future generations.”
— Daniel, Director of Marketing, Orange Aluminum
As a veteran of a modern conflict, Daniel recognized how difficult it could be for earlier generations to share their experiences. His nomination highlighted the value of giving those veterans an opportunity to speak and ensuring their accounts remain accessible.
That personal perspective helped guide our Q4 selection.
Preserving Stories for Future Generations
A recorded interview can preserve details that an overview of a conflict cannot: the people someone served alongside, the decisions they faced, and the experiences they carried home.
Supporting the American Veterans Center aligned with our desire to recognize service and contribute to work with lasting educational value. Preserving these accounts gives families, students, and the wider public opportunities to hear directly from veterans.

How Orange Aluminum Customers Helped Support the Initiative
Throughout Q4 2025, a portion of Orange Aluminum purchases contributed toward our quarterly donation to the American Veterans Center.
Our customers helped make the contribution possible, while an employee nomination helped identify the cause. Together, those contributions connected our daily business with an organization that mattered personally to a member of our team.
