OrangeCares Q3 Recap: Supporting Being Alive with a $4,374 Donation
Orange Aluminum is proud to conclude our Q3 2026 OrangeCares initiative with a $4,374 donation to Being Alive, a Los Angeles nonprofit dedicated to supporting individuals living with HIV and AIDS.
Through OrangeCares, our quarterly charitable giving program, a portion of customer purchases contributed to this donation. Alongside our financial support, the Orange Aluminum team came together to assemble care packages for individuals served by Being Alive, creating another opportunity to give back.
This quarter's initiative reflects what OrangeCares is all about: connecting our employees, customers, and community through meaningful charitable giving.
Supporting Being Alive's Mission
Founded in 1986, Being Alive is a Los Angeles nonprofit created by and for people living with HIV/AIDS. The organization provides no-cost programs focused on mental health, wellness, education, and community connection.
For individuals living with HIV, access to compassionate care and a supportive community can make a meaningful difference. Being Alive works to reduce stigma, remove barriers to resources, and create welcoming spaces where individuals can find understanding and support.
Its programs include mental health services, peer support, treatment education, and wellness activities that address both emotional and practical needs.
By supporting Being Alive through OrangeCares, Orange Aluminum is helping bring awareness to an organization dedicated to improving the well-being of individuals affected by HIV throughout Los Angeles.
A Personal Connection That Inspired Our Q3 Selection
Each quarter, Orange Aluminum employees have the opportunity to nominate nonprofit organizations that hold personal significance to them.
For Q3 2026, our Sales Assistant, Juan Medrano, nominated Being Alive after someone close to him received an HIV diagnosis. His nomination brought a personal perspective to the organization's work and highlighted the importance of accessible resources, understanding, and compassionate support.
Employee nominations are an important part of OrangeCares. They allow our team to share causes that matter to them while introducing our company and customers to organizations making a difference in their communities.
Juan's nomination helped bring Being Alive's mission into focus and inspired our team to support the organization throughout the quarter.
Giving Back Beyond the Donation

During Q3, the Orange Aluminum team spent time together assembling care packages for individuals served by Being Alive.
