Orange Cares Supports #TeamAndi at PCRF Reaching for the Cure 2025

Orange Aluminum joined #TeamAndi as a sponsor and participant at the Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation’s Reaching for the Cure 2025 event at Irvine Valley College. Our team walked and ran alongside families, supporters, and community members to raise awareness and funds for pediatric cancer research.

For us, the event was an opportunity to show up together for a cause with a personal connection—and to support the work of an organization focused on improving outcomes for children with cancer.

Coming Together for #TeamAndi

At the heart of our participation was #TeamAndi, rallying around Andi and her experience with neuroblastoma.

Her story gave our team a personal reason to take part. Joining the event was a way to stand with Andi, her family, and other families affected by childhood cancer.

Walking and running together also gave colleagues a shared opportunity to contribute beyond the workplace. We were grateful to be part of a community bringing its time, energy, and support to the same cause.

About PCRF Reaching for the Cure 2025

The Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation’s Reaching for the Cure 2025 brought participants and sponsors together at Irvine Valley College to support pediatric cancer research.

Orange Aluminum participated as both a sponsor and a team, joining the event’s broader fundraising effort.

At the time of our original recap on March 27, 2025, the event had raised $716,000 and counting across all participating teams, donors, and sponsors. That figure reflected the combined community effort, with Orange Aluminum contributing as one of the event’s supporters.

The day demonstrated how local participation can bring people together around a research mission that reaches beyond a single community.

Why We Supported the Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation

The Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation (PCRF) funds research aimed at advancing treatments and improving outcomes for children with cancer.

Supporting that work gave our participation a clear purpose. Alongside the personal connection through #TeamAndi, the event offered a way to contribute to the continued pursuit of better pediatric cancer care.

Community Participation Through Orange Cares

Orange Cares brings together Orange Aluminum’s charitable giving and community involvement, connecting our team with organizations and causes that matter to them.

Our participation in Reaching for the Cure 2025 reflected that commitment through sponsorship, teamwork, and time spent alongside other supporters.

We’re thankful to the employees, families, organizers, and donors who helped make the event possible. Their involvement made the day a shared expression of support for children and families affected by cancer.
