Z Bars

Aluminum Z bar is a Z-shaped structural profile used for framing, cladding support, and purlins in construction and paneling applications, where offset parallel flanges are needed to support overlapping panels. Stocked in 6061-T6 alloy, mill finish, in standard 4 ft, 6 ft, 8 ft, and 12 ft lengths — the offset-flange geometry is what lets one Z bar support two overlapping panel edges at once. Leg and flange sizes run from 1/2" up to 1-1/8", in 1/16" and 1/8" wall thicknesses.
