Rub Rail

An aluminum rub rail mounted horizontally along a wall or corridor to prevent damage from carts and equipment at wheel- and bumper-height. Stocked in 6463-T1 alloy — one of the few profiles in the catalog that runs a different alloy than the standard 6063-T5, chosen for its finish quality on a highly visible, high-wear part. A rubber insert is available to pair with the aluminum rail housing, adding cushioning at impact points instead of relying on the aluminum face alone to absorb contact.
