Edge Pull & Tab Pull FAQ
Choosing a pull
What are edge pulls?
Edge pulls sit along the top or side edge of a cabinet door or drawer front, so the grip follows the edge instead of sitting on the face.
What is a finger pull?
A finger pull is shaped so your fingers hook behind a lip or into a recess instead of wrapping around a handle. The edge pulls and tab pulls on this page are all finger pulls.
What is a tab pull?
A tab pull is a short pull with a lip that projects past the edge of a door or drawer front. Cut tabs from a full-length profile, or order pre-cut Drawer Pull Tabs (3", 4", or 6") or 1.5" Angled Bulb Flat Tabs.
What is the difference between an edge pull and a tab pull?
An edge pull keeps the grip in line with the panel edge. A tab pull projects a lip past the edge, which gives more to hold.
Sizing
What panel thickness do these pulls fit?
Most profiles fit 3/4" panels. Flush Mortise Pull fits 13/16". Drawer Pull and Angled Drawer Pull come in 3/4" and 13/16". Top Mount Pull comes in 5/8" and 3/4". Drawer Pull Tabs fit panels from 1/2" to 7/8".
What lengths are available?
Most profiles come in 48", 72", 96", and 144" lengths. Continuous Mount Pull and Flush Mount Tab come in 48", 72", and 96". Cut them to the width of each door or drawer front.
Cutting, finishes, and ordering
How do you cut aluminum pulls?
Use a miter saw with a carbide-tipped blade rated for non-ferrous metal, cut slowly, and deburr the cut edge. Wear eye protection.
What finishes are available?
Every profile comes in clear anodized. Continuous Mount Pull also comes in black or white powder coat, Flush Mount Tab in black powder coat, the 1.5" Angled Bulb Flat Tab in black anodized, and Drawer Pull Tabs in brushed nickel, chrome, and black powder coat.
Does anodized aluminum rust?
No. Rust is iron oxide, and aluminum contains no iron. Aluminum forms a thin protective oxide layer on its own, and anodizing makes that layer thicker and harder.
Is there volume pricing?
Yes. Quantity discounts apply automatically at checkout, and the tiers are shown when you open View Options.
