Square Bars

Aluminum square bar is solid stock with a flat-sided square cross-section, used for framing and machined components where flat mating surfaces matter more than a round profile. Stocked in 6061-T6 and 6063-T5 alloy, mill finish, in standard 4 ft, 6 ft, 8 ft, and 12 ft lengths. 6061-T6 is the better choice for machined parts and higher-stress applications; 6063-T5 machines more easily and holds a cleaner finish where appearance matters as much as strength. Common sizes run from light framing stock up to heavier bar used in equipment bases and jig bodies.
